Andy Spade conceptualized Jack Spade with his wife Kate in 1996 when they both realized there was a real need in the market for men’s bags. Building on a simple, utilitarian design style, Jack Spade’s fashion line is now considered the standard for stylish, practical, and functional bags and accessories for men. We developed an ambitious website built on a customized Flash category page layout that broke from the standard shopping cart grid. The site is understated, but brings to life Jack Spade’s commitment of disparate styles and a unique, odd mix of products and cross-cultural interests.
